Starry Christmas

I bought this lovely Die'sire 'Shine Bright' set of dies in the hope of coming up with something for a class. I'm thinking this one might be a tad tricky but I really like how the star turned out! I used the Crafter's Companion glitter card too - it's so sparkly and pretty :-)
There are six dies in the pack and you can cut a solid star or put the decorative 'inner' in!! Just love them.
I'm doing much better with Christmas cards this year but have had to slow down with all crafting in the hope that my hand and arm get better. I hate not being able to do any colouring!

I bought my daughter a Baby Blue die cutting machine for her birthday and we've spent the morning die cutting and embossing. She loves it :-) So chuffed!

Hope you're having a fabulous bank holiday weekend. Sending hugs xxx

Krafty Christmas

I've been a super bad blogger lately :-( This is partly due to the fact it's the school holidays and I've had no time and partly due to tendonitis which has had a dreadful impact on my ability to craft. It's so frustrating! I colour to de-stress and unwind but it's now so painful I can only manage a few minutes at a time.

Anyhoo. I needed to come up with a quick card for one of my September classes and after much faffing I settled on this.
The wreath is from Woodware and I just love it embossed with white. I've used an Inkylicious script stamp to emboss the background. I'm thinking of doing this as this years batch cards well this and the Altenew cards I made :-)
Hope all is well with you. So glad it's cooler today :-) Sending hugs, Jayne x

I'm entering this into:

Pink Christmas!

So, when I started this card I wanted really soft muted pinks. Then, my two pale pink pens ran out and I was a bit stuck!!!! My husband doesn't really understand why a grown woman would be quite so cross about two 'felt tips' running out !

I think this is my favourite My Besties image so far - she is just super beautiful. I've teamed her with the super delish Festive Flowers papers from NitWit Collections.

I'm still wrestling with the printer. The colours aren't quite right and black lines keep appearing everywhere!
I'm going to enter the card into:

My Besties UK Challenge Blog - Same but Different

Oooh, I'm quite giddy this morning as it's my first post for the My Besties Uk Challenge Blog DT :-) This is our mid-month Same But Different challenge where the DT all use the same image to make a card. I went for my favourite NitWit Collections 'Snow Princess' papers as they are just lush!!
I even got my own Besties watermark :-) You can buy the image here. Isn't she just beautiful?
The challenge theme this month is Anything Goes with the added option of bling and sparkle :-)

Coastal Path

I've made a few cards this week (ooh go me!!) but they're for future DT posts so I can't show them :-(  I did buy the Coastal paper pad from Craftwork Cards last week and made a few really quick 'man' cards :-)

I've tried to keep this one simple because I really need to crack on with making some cards to sell. This Coastal pad is fab and all the papers are usable - none that you think 'Eeewwww!'

So there I am. Hopefully I'll have something a little better to show soon! Hope you're having a great week. Thank you for stopping by, Jayne x

Anything Goes at LOTV Facebook challenge

Over at the LOTV Facebook page this month's challenge theme is Anything Goes :-) I've used one of the new Christmas digi stamps and teamed it up with my favourite NitWit Collection papers (Snow Princess).

I kept it quite simple - mainly because I made it on the day I started potty training my younger daughter and it was literally made in two minute bursts!!!!
I really love the stamp - perfect for a teenager!

You can join in here.

Anything Goes at Crafty Ribbons

Good morning! This week's challenge at Crafty Ribbons is Anything Goes. Now really, what could be simpler? All you need to do is add ribbon or lace to your project and enter!

I've used my fab new Gnome stamps from MFT (sent to me by the very lovely Squirrel) and the gnome ribbon from the new Gnome Ribbon collection from Crafty Ribbons.
I love these gnomes. They kill me! The one at the top looks like someone just made an improper suggestion to him! Hahahaha. Seriously, I love 'em. And the ribbon is perfect :-)

So that's me for today. Thank you for coming by and leaving all your lovely comments. They keep me going :-)  Hugs, Jayne x

Squirrel's Not So Random Challenge :-)

Woohoo! Squirrel has decided to make her random challenges not quite so random! So, every two months we (Squirrel, Annette, Sue, Becky and me) will be running a new challenge. There's plenty of time to enter and our first challenge is 'Anything Goes'. What could be easier?

I was a bit nervous about making a card for this though, so decided to crack open my super delicious new Maja Design papers. Eeek. I hate cutting into expensive papers - I break out into a sweat!
These papers are from the Coffee in the Arbour pack and I teamed them with Wryn Poppies from Tiddlyinks. I don't think I've coloured her before and I got my knickers in a rare old twist! It worked out ok in the end.
I went for minimal embellies on the basis that if I was paying big bucks for expensive papers I at least wanted to see them ! hahaha.

So that's me. Please visit the other DT's blogs - their creations are super scrumptious :-)

Big hugs and a Happy Yorkshire Day :-) Jayne xxx
