'Sport' over at Crafty LiIttle Fairies

Ok, hands up who forgot it was Thursday! I can't believe I forgot what day it was. I was in a right old tizzy last night about some group my daughter had been put in at school and spent the night worrying. Her class teacher is investigating today and is supposed to be getting back to me - but you know when you just can't settle for worry? It's like that today; I've drunk too much coffee and given myself the jitters!!

Ok, enough waffle. This week our challenge at Crafty Little Fairies is 'Sport'. I wasn't overly keen and went slightly off piste ;) Obviously the sport here is swimming. :D
I've used the beautiful Mermaid digi from Saturated Canary and coloured her with Copics. The Papers are Raspberry Road Designs 'Fight Like a Girl' collection. I finally got to use the shells my Dad brought back from his holiday in Filey :D

And the prize, worth £8.99, is this fabulous Canal Scene set of stamps
Super prize this week! Can't wait to see your 'Sport' themed cards. Hugs, Jayne x

Celebrate - a Little Bit Crafty mid-way reminder

Super quick post with a really terrible photo - v sorry! The papers are beautiful - the camera has made them look a really funny shade. They are beautiful shades of pinks and lilacs! Honest!! They are from the Possibilities range over at Nitwit Collections.
This is one of my new LOTV stamps :D Did I confess to buying the six on my wishlist and a set of four from Create and Craft? I'm on a stash diet now as am saving for our summer hols :) Restraint is my middle name.

Kraft over at the Crafty Little Fairies!

Yay! I got it right this week - it is Blue Fairy week so it is actually my turn this week. Forgive the super short post; Isis is, I think, teething and is waking at 3 in the morning :D I am now going to bed at about half eight and I'm still shattered. Ooh, I do love my girls but they can be a bit high maintenance!

So, this week we are sponsored by Delicious Doodles and all you have to do to be in with a shout of winning the voucher is enter the challenge with a card using kraft card! Easy peasy - having said that, I made very heavy weather of my card and only finished yesterday.

I used the fabulous Skater Boy image from Saturated Canary - just how cute is he? The papers are from Raspberry Road and I think it's the Stars and Stripes collection; the papers are all fab vintage blues and reds. I'm pretty sure that the little ticket 'Happy Birthday' stamp is from Kanban.

I hope that you get a chance to enter; last weeks entries were beautiful :D Apart from having no sleep this week hasn't been all bad. I was asked by my local craft shop (Samuel Taylor's) to make samples for the shop and then I won a Bunny Zoe voucher from the Without Words Challenge :D

I must go do some housework before the house disappears under a pile of plastic tat toys and dust :( Hugs, Jayne xxx

Starting Over at the Crafty Little Fairies!

We have a new challenge starting today over at the Crafty Little Fairies and this week we are 'Starting Over'. So, we would like to see cards celebrating something new - new house/job/ baby. I saw these papers (Nitwit Hollow Collection) over at Nitwit Collections and thought I'd try a new colour combo. This was a super idea until my lightest blue pen ran out. It's going to be a trip to Cult Pens - but I'll be good. Ish!!!
I had forgotten to make a card for this challenge so it was a bit of a rush and then when I went to post it I realised this wasn't my teams week! Duh!!! I really have to get my head together. I had a go on my daughter's 'Brain Training' game on the DS and found that my brain was in its 80s! The cheek of it.

The image is from a Polkadoodles 'Pen and Circle' magazine. It came with all kinds of stamps to build a scene and I must give that a go.

The ladies from Deamees are on Create and Craft twice tomorrow :D The first show is at 8 am - I can't believe how well they're doing, I'm super chuffed for them :D Tune in if you can, the shows are always fabulous and full of great demos.

My cherubs are getting restless so I must go! I hope that you can join us this week. Biggest of hugs, Jayne xx

Let's Celebrate over at A Little Bit Crafty!

Oooh, it's January again! I hope that this year is kind to you and all that you love :D Over at a Little Bit Crafty we are kicking off the year with a 'Let's Celebrate' challenge. I went for a wedding themed Tilda card - in part because I wanted to use the Nitwit Collections 'Romance and Roses' papers again!

I used my new Go Kreate XXL dies - soooo yummy. I think they may be Frames 7. The flowers are just the scrummiest ever :D They were sent to me by Lucinda from Petal Lu and are just the prettiest most delicate flowers! I'm a big fan :D

We are very fortunate to have three fabulous sponsors this month with some brilliant prizes up for grabs:
