Purple Friends with Squirrel :-)

Ok, so this month the fabulous Squirrel has invited Annette and I to join her in hosting another fun challenge. This time it's cards with a friendship theme, and if I heard right a purple theme :-) So if you have purple friends you're pretty much good to go!

I'll start with this super cute image (now retired) from LOTV. I've teamed it with the Snow Princess papers from NitWits - which I assure you have a much more purpley hue in real life.
I hope that you can join us over on Squirrel's blog.
I have waged war on all the random pieces of plastic tat in the house. Seriously, it's not that children have large plastic toys, it's all the little bits of plastic rubbish that have no place in a civilised world. And nobody even knows what most of them are. Let me tell you, when my older girl goes to school on Thursday I am waging war on her toybox of tat. The reason I don't clean the house is that I can't even see the floor in most rooms. And not that I am a dreadfully slovenly slack housewife who would rather craft. Obviously.

Baubles (with robins!)

I very nearly didn't post this as my husband said that the paper looked like Vera Duckworth's wallpaper :-( I'm not sure he was impressed and now I'm not sure either!
The robin trio stamp set will be available, along with the other trio sets showcased by the fabulous Design Collective girls, at Lili of the Valley on the 31st of August.

Thank you for stopping by and for all your kind comments. You're keeping me going at the moment!

No more robins now. For a while. Sending big hugs. Jayne xx

Wot no robins?

Ahh, today is a robin free day :-)  Today I have a sadly retired LOTV stamp and have teamed it up with the delish LOTV Snow Princess papers. There are lots more yummy James Bear stamps on the website (I may even have a few myself). :-)
The stamps I bought in the LOTV sale came this week so I got to use a little postmark sentiment on this one. Happy days.
Taking my daughter to a playgym party now :-) She has such a great social life lol!

Thank you for stopping by. Hugs, Jayne xx

Anyone for more robins?

Ok, I promise I only have one more LOTV robin trio to come! This one teams the trio (that I turned into a quartet) with NitWit Collections Polar Pals papers. Super yum :-)
The pretty poinsettia die was given to me by Annette and was the perfect thing for this card :-) Thanks hun!! I think it's Marianne Creatables.

Right, That's me for today. I'm off to soak my poorly shoulder in the bath. I'm a physical wreck this week!!

More robins!!

Agghhh! I have me a cold sore appearing on my lip. Hmm, tired, run down and stressed out - yep, a cold sore recipe :-(  I'm feeling a tad sorry for myself - I can't work out how having a cold sore always makes my eyes feel sore?

Anyhoo, back to the LOTV soon to be released robins. I kept it simple - pertly because I'm trying to come up with a style that I can 'batch make' for Christmas :-)

I love this red and white paper - it's my new favourite colour combo!
Ok, I have a confession. I've been such a bad girl - but in my defence it was a sale!! I spent the LOTV voucher Squirrel bought me for my birthday (aww, what a fab friend) and an extra £10 on 3 A5 stamp sets and 3 little stamps. Ooooh, I'm just super naughty. I think I showed remarkable restraint.

That's me for today. Hope you have a great week. Hugs, Jayne xx

Sneaky peek number 2.

Today's offering is from the soon to be released trio collection from LOTV (released end of August/early September). I have this super cute robin trio for you.
I've used a spellbinders snowflake die as the base of the tag - the stamp just fitted perfectly :-)
I love these little stamps!
And to finish;
Can't wait for these to be released - trouble is I can't make up my mind which other sets I need ;-)

Sending weekend hugs, Jayne xx

Sneaky Peek :-)

Before I get started I have to tell you that LOTV are having a sale :-) It ends at 10am Sunday 16th and it's free P&P. Yippeeeee.

My second yippeeeee of the day is in regards to my sneak peek of an upcoming set of stamps. The set is a trio of robins but I only used one on this card so it must be an uno? Possibly.
I was heavily inspired by a beautiful card made by Dawny P using the Tonic Petunia Trellis die with liquid pearls.
I wasn't intending to put a bow on it but just as I finished the liquid pearl drops my little munchkin decided that moment was perfect to climb up on my chair and give mummy a big hugs. I may have squealed a little.

These stamps are just so pretty and fab to colour in - perfect for a batch set of Christmas cards.
I'll be back with the whole trio soon - I've made some tags and will blog them when I get five minutes peace. Let's not hold our breath!

Hugs, Jayne xxxx

First LOTV Design Collective card for August - Just chilling!

After a week on Anglesey, building more sandcastles than you can shake a stick at, I sure could do with sitting on a lily pad and having a relax :-)  Granted it would have to be a whopper of a lily pad!! If only I were like this little LOTV fairy.
I've teamed up the LOTV Water Lily stamp with the NitWit Collection 'Country Meadows' papers. Just scrummy. I've used a Lawn Fawn sun die and a sentiment from Stampingbella (pretty sure it's the new release 'Blossom Loves Balloons').

Seriously, after a week away, I really need a holiday. I'm pretty sure that when I was a kid I did the digging when making sandcastles. I'm almost certain that I didn't run in and out of the sea shouting instructions as to what I wanted and giving design instructions. Hmm. I think I missed a trick there!

I hope you're having a fabulous weekend. Have you treated yourself to any of the new LOTV Christmas stamps or calendar fairies? It's hard to narrow down my 'need' list!!!

Sending hugs, Jayne xx
