First LOTV DT card :-)

I was super excited when I got the e-mail asking me to join the LOTV DT collective; I didn't realise at that point how stressed I would be making cards for them! I got myself into such a pickle. I coloured up the image to match some beautiful papers I KNEW were in my craft box only to find, when I'd finished the colouring, that those papers were long gone. Doh! Anyhoo, on the bright side it matched these Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics 1922 (Which I had been saving because they were too lovely to use!).
I thought these were bluebells but the name of the stamp is 'Fogloves' so I guess they're not ;-) I even hand stitched the papers.
We seem to have spent the Easter weekend visiting parks and doing Easter Egg hunts :-) Much fun was had by all but as I'm on a diet no chocolate was had by me.

I want to say a big thank you to a crafty friend who calmed my cardmaking nerves and politely encouraged me to get a grip! Sending hugs, Jayne xxx

Wow this is stunning Jayne. How on earth could you be nervous when you bring out a beauty like this. The amazing thing is that although hubby likes to pretend that I have more Lili stamps that Lili themselves, (I admit that I do have a fair few, but methinks he doth exaggerate somewhat) I had not noticed this image in the store and must have overlooked it. You've shown me that there are images that I must have previously missed yet deserve a second look. It is perfect for a birthday card, but whether bluebells or foxgloves, it would make a good image for a sympathy card too, unfortunately a theme I need to make for this week for a friend who's lost her dad.
It's gorgeous Jayne, and your DT role is extremely well deserved.
Huge hugs my lovely friend.
