A new note ;-)

So, this week 'we' are learning 'G'. Apparently this is another note using a fret - I think we may find we have knotted fingers by the weekend! Somehow my little cherub has knocked a chunk out of the neck of the guitar - luckily it's from Home Bargains and not a priceless musical instrument ;-) The music lessons are, I think, bringing us closer together. Indi practices and then gets me to have a go - I feel that we're learning together :-)

Anyhoo, this card was inspired by my very own little Taylor Swift ;-)
I'm trying to make my cards simpler! It won't last - I'm bereft without a ton of embellishments!

The delish papers are Cottage Charm from NitWit Collections. I think the hessian is from The Range; they are doing lots of fabulous embellishment packs for a pound! I got some fabulous pearl trim and some little ceramic flowers both for a pound. The little key charm is from a pack of charms from Dreamees.
Last day of school - half term is finally here! Yippee. Year 3 is proving to be really tough :-( I hope the weather stays ok - we just need one nice day so we can get to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park!!

Right, I am off. Hope you're having a great week. Thank you so much for stopping by. Hugs, Jayne xx

I'm entering this into:
Fab n Funky - Charm Us challenge
The Ribbon Girl - It's Charming challenge
Winter Wonderland - For a Child

I love how you colored her, and how meaningful with your own lessons going on (although, she's not playing a G chord)! I hope you get some good weather for the break!

Did I buy that stamp? Do I need that stamp? I think I do. Loving your "simpler" cards hun, this one is so pretty, the blue is gorgeous but then it is my favourite colour so maybe I am a little biased. Brilliant. Hugs xx PS. Never knew you had a G string.

Your card is gorgeous, Jayne, despite the fact there are no flowers!! I love every single element, but I have to single out your colouring...BRILLIANT!
