Good grief, is that yellow I see!

This is a bit bright and cheerful for me; I'm not sure what came over me!

This is one of my daughter's stamps that I've borrowed. The thing is, when I borrow one of her stamps I put it back. When she 'borrows' my promarkers they somehow manage to stay in her box. She has her eye on my sketch pens - I've taken to hiding them!!!!!!!!

I'm freezing today and I've just managed to put a staple through my thumb so a cheery card is probably just what the doctor ordered!

On this card I used:
LOTV image and sentiment
Kraft card
WOC flowers
Martha Stewart leaf punch
Sizzix Tim Holtz Weathered Clock Die
Magnolia DooHickey Dragonfly dies
Prima - Sweet Fairy papers

I'm off to get warm and veg in front of the t.v. for half an hour. Hope you're having a great week, hugs, Jayne xx

LOTV in lilac!

Back with yet another wedding card! Again it's LOTV, but in lovely lilac.

I had a fabulous morning at the Harrogate craft show and spent up in super quick time! My husband took my gorgeous girl to the LOTV stand and she bought 5 stamps too! I bought lots of scrummy ribbon and lace trim and dies and stamps. Naughty girl!!! We also got to meet Lovely Hayley and Carol from Dreamees. They are two of the loveliest ladies I know and they are working so hard running their craft company. I've got a lovely Christmas recipe stamp from them and I'm itching to use it!!

On this card I used:
Papermania Lucy Cromwell papers
LOTV image and sentiment
WOC flowers and ribbon
Magnolia DooHickey Butterfly
Marianne Creatables leaves
Cheery Lynn Doily Heart Die
Spellbinders scalloped Heart Die

I have craft stuff everywhere and had better go tidy up before School's out! Hugs, Jayne xx

Thrilled to be a Sheenie!

Well, I'm not too sure how it happened ( and I'm not asking if it's a mistake!) but the lovely ladies on the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog have invited me and four other super crafty ladies to join the team! So, along with Lexie, Kate, Wendy and Laura I'm now a Sheenie! How giddy am I? I'd like to say a super big thank you to Paula for showing some faith in me and a huge thank you to Squirrel who had daily e-mails of how I was never in a zillion years going to make it, but who kept my spirits up and didn't tell me to shut up. Not even once!!! Mwah!!!

The following cards are the reasons why I love all that is Joanna Sheen!!

I love that Jane Shasky CD - it's my most used CD and the cards I make using it sell better than any others!

I discovered the meece :)

My cards for the DT call - that Jane Shasky CD again!

I'm super amazed and a bit puzzled but I am soooooooooo not complaining.

Hugs to all, have a great week. Hugs, Jayne xx

Pretty in Pink!

I think I have a new favourite pack of papers! Yep, another one. How scrumptious are these Wild Rose Studio (Letters From Paris) papers? Yum.

I'm trying to cut down on embellishments; they cost a fortune and I've gotta stop spending! How do you think I'm doing so far? Hmmm. I'm still trying to get some all occasions cards made up but it's taking me ages! I think this might be my favourite LOTV wedding stamp, it's just super cute!

Wild Rose Studio - Letters from Paris pack
LOTV - sentiment & image
Memory Box - Spring Border die
Magnolia DooHickey - Butterfly die
Marianne Designs - Leaf die
Flowers and cheesecloth from WOC
Cheery Lynn - French pastry Doily die

It's nearly time for Harrogate and I'm quite giddy! Hopefully we'll all feel better by then! Have a super weekend, hugs, Jayne xx

I'm entering this into:

In the Pink Challenge - Pink plus one (lots of pink and lots of white!)

A Christmas Card for the Boys over at Lili's Little Fairies

Is it Thursday already? We've all got cold and are merrily coughing and spluttering all night - now I have the house to myself I might see if I can have a nap on the sofa. My gorgeous girl was up at 5-20am and I'm just not good at that time in the morning!!

First up, a huge thank you to the lovely ladies at 'Without Words Challenge Blog' for my Special Mention for my (disastrous) first CAS card. I was touched and I'm gonna give it another go - if nothing else we could all do with a good laugh!

Onto this weeks Fairy challenge - 'Christmas Card for the Boys'. My card is one for a boy who is very much in touch with his feminine side. hehehehe. We're sponsored by 'Nitwits' this week and there is a $10 gift voucher up for grabs :)

I'm going to try and list what I've used but I'm a bit hazy on the fine detail!!!!!!!!

Nitwit Papers - Holiday Charm
LOTV - grunge sentiments
LOTV - Igloo For two (awwww)
Spellbinders snowflakes
Die-Namics - Flourish
Sam Poole ribbon
Memory Box - Arboscello Tree
Cheesecloth - WOC

Ok, I'm definitely going to crawl to the sofa now. Hope that you get the chance to join us this week - last weeks entries were stunning :)  Hugs, Jayne xx

More meece!

I have a thing about cute meece! I love the LOTV meece in particular - they have a cheeky 'up to no good' look to me!

The stamp and sentiment are both from LOTV. I won Squirrel's blog candy so get to choose 2 LOTV stamps - yippeeeeeeeeeeeee! Thanks hun! How cheery was I? The papers are Papermania, Burleigh Blue capsule collection. The doily is the Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily die; it's lovely but it takes ages to poke all the pips out!!! I have no patience and it's not a fun job! The flowers, lace and ribbon are from WOC (I can't believe I need more flowers!).

A close up of the cute meece!!!
I'm trying to get together a batch of 'all occasions' cards to take to a local shop to see if they might sell them. Not holding out much hope but I'm going to give it a whirl.

Is it only Tuesday? Blimey. Big hugs to all, Jayne xx

Frosty the Snowman

Oh my, it's that blooming pearl trim again! I can't help it - it's going on everything!!!! If I could sew, I'm sure it would have made it's way onto clothing!

It's a super quick card today. The papers were bits I found in my stash and I didn't really have anything to match them! The sentiment is from the grunge sentiments from LOTV (oh, how I love that set!) The Snowman is from Magnolia. My daughter wanted to colour some images with her promarkers so I gave her a Tilda. 'Why does she look so odd Mummy?' she asked. I asked her what she meant and she said , 'Well, she looks like a cow!!'. Poor Tilda - she gets a rough ride in this house!

That's me for today. I think my mojo has vanished, I can't seem to find my groove. Maybe it's in the biscuit tin? Sounds like an excellent place to start my search! Hugs, Jayne xx
