Use Ribbon at Crafty Ribbons Challenge

It's a super easy one this week over at the Crafty Ribbons Challenge Blog. All you need to do to enter is a make a card featuring ribbon. I used this gorgeous bias binding Christmas ribbon which you can find here.

I bought a pad of images to colour from The Hobby House and they're all super cute :-) I coloured this one when my arm was really sore so it's a little on the dodgy side ;-)

So that's me for today. It's been quite a rough week and I'm just shattered. The only positive to come from it is that having grandma go to hospital has meant that she's been assessed for all kinds of help at home. Hopefully she'll be getting more grab rails and various aids to help her about the house. She hasn't broken any bones but does look very battered :-(

Another Grand Entrance :-)

This is the second card I made with the Crafter's Companion Grand Entrance die.

I really love this fancy die and think it will have to go on to my wish list :-) I've teamed it up with the LOTV Wedding Couple stamp. This is still my favourite LOTV stamp!

Sorry I haven't been visiting blogs lately :-( The girls have been unwell and then my Gran took a tumble in the night and it's just been chaos here!!

Grand Entrance!

A lady in the craft class bought this Grand Entrance gate die months ago but didn't know quite what to do with it so she gave it to me to have a play :-) It's just the prettiest die and I love it. I used it with the new Sheena Douglass Christmas stamps :-)

I coloured the image quickly with copics and added the Stampendous Sparkle Puff, which adds sparkly snow. What a genius product :-)

I sponged on some blue and purple pixie powders for the sky and added an Inkylicious santa in the sky.

Birthday at Crafty Ribbons

This week at Crafty Ribbons our challenge is Birthday (with lace or ribbon). I've used this super cute Woodware Owl and done a bit of paper piecing. We're making this in the class on Sunday :-)

I sure hope the ladies are up for more paper piecing on Sunday!!!

My Besties UK Same But Different

James is back :-)

Whoop whoop! James is back as a dig at LOTV :-) Happy dance! For the LOTV facebook animals challenge I have used James Bear Deck the Halls.

I've used the Crafter's Companion Contemporary Christmas papers.

I made this in super quick time as I'm completely snowed under. I think my mojo has gone on a late summer holiday; sure hope it returns soon!!

Reindeer Easel

Super fast post today as the girls want to go to Grandma's!!!

I saw the very end of a demo on Hochanda for this but didn't see exactly how to make it. I hope that this is right - I think it looks fine!!

The die is the 'Enchanted Reindeer' (5"x5" Create a Card die from Crafter's Companion). It's made with a 15"x5" strip of white card which I scored at 5" and 10" so it will fold flat and fit in a 5" square envelope.

I sprinkled it with lots of glitter and covered in gems :-)

I've made a couple of other cards with this die and can't wait to use it on a box lid. I love it when you find something you really LOVE!!

Anything Goes at Crafty Ribbons

Oooh, it's let loose with Anything Goes over at Crafty Ribbons! What could be easier? All you need is to submit a card/project featuring lace or ribbon and you're in with a chance of winning a prize :-)

Fall/Autumn over at My Besties UK Challenge Blog

Morning all! Can't believe it's September already!! Where has the time gone? Over at My Besties UK Challenge Blog we have come over all Autumnal :-) The challenge this month is Fall/Autumn with our usual 'Anything Goes' option. Autumn colours were a real challenge for me as I have very few copics that could be considered Autumn colours! I remedied this by borrowing a couple of my daughter's promarkers. Shh, don't tell!

I saved this image with the watermark on and it now seems to have vanished???? No idea how that happened. Sigh!

Thankfully NitWit Collections saved my bacon again with this beautiful Autumn Bliss set of papers :-) The fab leaf stamps came with the latest Crafter's Companion Inspiration mag - perfect timing :-)
