Beelightful!

Today I have a card featuring the new Bee ribbon from the Gnome Ribbon Collection from Crafty Ribbons.

I'm not a huge fan of yellow but I adore these 'Bee-lightful' papers from NitWit Collections :-) The image is 'Bee You' from Tiddlyinks. The hexagon dies are Tattered Lace (I've had them an age but only just used them).

I have no words for the last few days. I really hope that we can come together and respect a democratic decision - whether or not we agree. I can't go through another referendum. Please can we have a petition to stop petitions?????? I may need to buy more stash to keep myself busy and cheer myself up :-)

Summer Challenge over at Crafty Ribbons

This week over at Crafty Ribbons our challenge is 'Summer'. I have used the Camping Van ribbon from the Summer Festival range. I think the stamp might have been free with Craft Stamper magazine many moons ago!!

Add some sparkle

I'm playing along with the Winter Wonderland Challenge of Add Some Sparkle this week. I made this shaker card with an image from an LOTV Art Pad - oh, I do miss these pads! The beautiful papers are from a Papermania 'Home For Christmas' pad.

Crazy daisies

If you read my facebook post about this card you'll know that instead of having a lovely hour of crafting I ended up having 25 minutes of sloshing ink about in a haphazard manner!!! This was due to my inability to locate my aquamarkers which eventually turned up in my wardrobe!!

I've had these Polkadoodles Stamping Made Easy daisies for a week and really wanted to have a go with them. It's a little bright and I'll go for something a little more muted next time but I thought I'd share my first attempt :-)

Red and aqua!

Hmm, this isn't my usual colour scheme preference but I so like these papers from the Range I couldn't resist!
I've teamed up this LOTV Calendar Fairy with these super yummy Deco Times papers and added plenty glitter for good luck :-) I think this might be the first time this stamp has seen ink - shame on me!

I don't know about you but I can't wait for the referendum to be over. It's just getting so unpleasant and at times utterly ridiculous (Nigel Farage and Bob Geldof having a war of words on boats on the Thames??? What????) What with that and the football I daren't turn my tv on! Seems like the perfect excuse to shut myself in the dining room to craft :-)

Oh, and I fell off the diet wagon. Again. Sigh.

Cupcake Cutie

I really wanted to play along at In The Pink and As You Like It this week but had no cupcake related image :-( So I had a quick look on Pinterest and saw this little cutie from Sherri Baldy's Besties collection. I bought this digi and a couple of others - seriously how hard was it not to go mad and buy a whole bunch???

I've teamed her up with the 'Butterfly Kisses' collection from NitWit Collections. Just love this kit with all its beautiful extra embellies. The pink with that zingy green is just yum :-)

I really need to get back to working on my colouring and these images are just great for that :-)

Today I have a card I made for the class I ran today at Samuel Taylors. It went really well and we all had a great day :-)

The balloons are from the Dreamer set of stamps from Bo Bunny. I teamed them up with Memory Box clouds and their Country Landscape die.

We used alcohol inks on acetate to colour the sky. Really chuffed with how this one turned out and so relieved the class went well.

I used this LOTV wedding stamp with papers from NitWit Collections (Cottage Garden).

I have used Congratulations ribbon in white and the beautiful Volcan Viscose lace also in white from the Crafty Ribbons shop.

Pretty Baby

I don't think this one ever made it to my blog! I used the Anna Marie Designs mdf Baby Gro as a template for the card blank and the Rosa collection of papers from Craftwork Cards.

I've battled the computer all day - I hope it isn't on its last legs!

Around the World

Good morning! Today I have a card made using the 'Scenes' ribbon from the Travel Ribbons selection over at Crafty Ribbons which can be found here

.This was such a quick card to make and great for a 'man' card which I soooo struggle with.

I used the Essential Scripts stamp from Inkylicious with vintage sepia ink. I used my fab Presscut square dies for the apertures and a couple of the LOTV tag stamps to complete the card.

I love how it looks with the kraft card but may try it again on cream card.

'Sports' over on the LOTV fb page!

This month's LOTV Facebook challenge is 'Sports'. Crikey!!! Generally if I can't stick flowers and fluff on a card then I don't want to know but I stuck flowers on this anyway!!!! My daughter asked why I'd put flowers on a swimming card and I told her without them it looked sad!! I'm turning into a crazy old lady already. Eeek.
