As the lovely Hayley and Carol at Dreamees are going to have a stall at the NEC next month I thought I should get a wriggle on and make some last minute samples. I thought a Christmas card bonanza might help me find my mojo. It didn't, but I did craft to some mighty fine music. I'm sure my neighbours must now love the Mumfords nearly as much as me!!
I've used the 'Back to Basics' Cd for both cards as it's such a super all rounder.
I know, I'm a bad girl, I've used that Go Kreate XXL die again. And that rose organza trim, and the pearls and the snowflakes. They're all my favouries, what can I say? The recipe of Christmas stamp is super cute and really versatile :)
It's not Christmas without a purple card though, is it?
I tried embossing the tree with some new Stampendous embossing powder I bought at Harrogate. Beautifully sparkly it is, but every time I embossed it the powder just fell off. After six attempts, guess what? Yep, that 'embossing powder' was silver halo GLITTER. Duh!
This next one was a nightmare to photograph and the colour is not how it is in real life. Grrr. I so wish I was more technical. Anyhoo, you get the gist and the bauble stamp is lovely in any colour!
Thanks to everyone for the words of wisdom regarding my daughter and the reading fiasco. Bribery sometimes works! She got a great comment in her reading records book today - the teacher can see how hard she's working at home and is really impressed with her improvement! Yippee. See, it was worth chasing her round the house with the blasted book after all!!!!!!
Best of all, today I received one of those little sent 'just because' cards from a friend. It was unexpected, totally beautiful, and cheered me up no end. :D It's nice to have a friend who doesn't mind that I'm fifty shades of bonkers!!!!!
Big hugs to all, thank you for your support, hugs, Jayne xx
