Another sneaky peek :-)

Here's another sneaky peek of the August Fairy this time teamed up with the LOTV (NitWit) 'Sunny Side Up' paper collection.

I was a bit scared to use these super bright and bold papers but I think they're perfect for this sunny image.

This is the first time I've used this MFT die (Blueprints 22). I'm going to be saving up for some more stitched dies :-)

Sneaky Peak of a beach babe :-)

OMG ladies, how cute is little August Fairy? She is just super perfect! LOTV have a range of 12 fairies (one for each month) due out at the end of this month. It's time to get giddy :-) All the fairies are fab and I may have to splash out when I can decide on my favourites!

Both my girls are August born and the oldest wants me to use this image on her birthday card!

I did mask the fairy and put clouds in the background but they are a little faint on the photo. The scrummy summer papers are els Daisy and Daisy too from NitWit Collections. As you know, I'm not a fan of yellow but I am loving this yellow/blue combo.

Music to My Ears

This is the thank you gift I made for my daughter's teacher. My daughter wrote a little thank you message which I stuck to the body of the guitar next to the image of Annabel 'Music to my ears'.

The template for the guitar is from the Templates and More 2 CD ROM from Dreamees.

The beautiful papers are from the Cottage Charm set from NitWit Collections. 

I just love this little image and hoped that it would remind my daughter's teacher of my little girl and how he inspired her to start learning to play the guitar :-)

I used docraft mini bobbins to form the keys and some docraft alphabet stamps for the 'thank you'.

I didn't have as much time as I would've liked to put this together and I'm hoping it doesn't look more shabby than chic! It was three evenings work with Season 5 of the Good Wife to keep me company.

This is my second offering as part of the LOTV Design Collective for July but hopefully in the next few days I'll have a sneaky peak of the cutest little fairy you ever did see!! Start saving - come the end of July there'll be some stunning stamps you'll just 'need'.

Pretty Flowers

Here's another one from the LOTV art pad. I've teamed this one up with papers from the Fine Linen set from NitWit Collections.

I haven't added much detail because the image is so pretty and I had a batch of cards to make so I really needed to get a wriggle on :-)

I have to write a comment on my daughter's report but it's been such a crazy year of highs and lows I hardly know where to start!!

As the end of term draws closer (yippee) I have been asked to make thank you cards for the teachers and teaching assistants. How glad am I that I bought those LOTV art pads :-)  This is an image from Art pad 3 (wildflowers). The papers are from the Daffodil Joy set from NitWit Collections.

The sentiment is from the LOTV set of sentiments that fits in the scroll from the Geisha companion set (I've been after that for ever and now it's half price I treated myself - yippee again).

I love this image - so uplifting.

New Release Day over at LOTV :-)

Today at midday LOTV are launching  some stunning new rubber stamps :-) The girls from the Design Collective have been giving sneaky peeks of the stamps for the last week or so - you can find them on the LOTV Pinterest board. The stamps include the super cute Odd Dog, some stunning florals and a couple of cute girl stamps. Head on over at midday to grab yourself a bargain :-)

Today I have my first LOTV Design Collective card for July. I've used papers from the beautiful Romance and Roses Collection.

I've used the So Many Presents stamp and coloured with copics.

Oooh, I love a birthday :-)
I used one of the new wavy sentiments stamps on the inside.
