Who stole the weekend?

I cannot believe it's Sunday night! Just where did that weekend go? I would sulk but I don't have the energy ;-)

Today I have a card I made for one of my husband's colleagues. I've used the beautiful 'Primulas and Bluebells' stamp from LOTV and teamed it up with papers from the Flower Shoppe kit from NitWit Collections. Delish!
I spent this morning making an easel card with little drawers as a sample for my next class. It's the first time I've tried to colour anything vaguely complicated in ages and I made a bit of a pig's ear!!! I may have to have a few more goes with the image before the class. I'm sure it'll all come back to me when I'm not so tired.
I love these little floral stamps from LOTV, they always sell really well and are super versatile. If you hop on over to Mrs B's blog you'll find a stunning sneaky peek of a stamp that will be available early July at LOTV :-)

Incy Wincy Spider :-)

I think this is as CAS as I get! This is my second LOTV DT card for June.  I've tried to get back into cardmaking with a nice simple card with one of my favourite LOTV images - Fairy Cobweb. Isn't she just fabulous? I've teamed her up with papers from the Possibilities collection from NitWit Collections (one of my favourites!)
I stitched round the image and stitched a little cobweb and finished off with the cutest little spider :-)
I'm still busy with the art pads and have used this little footballer from the Action Pad a number of time. I used a Crafter's Companion embossing folder and a trophy die cut to finish it off.
I hope that you're having a fab weekend. A very happy father's day for all Daddies tomorrow and a big hug to all who will be missing their Dad. Hugs, Jayne x

Gorjuss New Heights

Apologies for not coming to visit you for a while. I'm still not much better but I had a class to teach on Sunday and have the school summer fayre so I'm attempting to get back into the swing of things.

Today I have a card using Echo Park papers with the Gorjuss New Heights stamp. The inspiration for the layout comes from the lovely Vicky at Vicky's Handmade Creations.
I coloured with copics  The lovely flower is made with the Marianne Creatables die (LR0164).

I have a stall this afternoon at the Summer Fayre. At the mo the weather does not look good so I just hope it holds off or I'll have a bunch of soggy cards. I've made a box of £1 charity cards with all proceeds going to the Forget Me No Children's Hospice. These are two quick cards I made using the LOTV Art Pad Set 5 - Action Time.

Going to the Chapel!

Today I have my first June Dt card for the LOTV Design Collective. I've used some of the delicious new papers from the Romance and Roses paper pad (this collection was already a favourite of mine and I'm thrilled it's now available as a paper pad ) The paper pads are on special offer at the moment - the three new ones (Sunny Side Up, Dress Shoppe and Romance and Roses) are on offer at £20 for the three).

I've made a tent card using the Summer Church stamp and the Wedding Couple stamp (LOTV).
I have to confess that the process of making the card was beset by disaster and reduced me to tears but I think that may also be due to me not feeling so well!! Three of my copics ran out so the blending isn't the best. I ordered more yesterday from Cult Pens and they came this morning - I just love their customer service :-)
I really think that this wedding couple is my fave LOTV stamp.
I'm not on speaking terms with this image at all - my green pens ran out and shouting 'seriously?' at volume at them did not seem help :-)

There are some totally yummy new Watercolour art pads and sentiment stamps out over at Lili of the Valley and are definitely worth checking out. I have a voucher to spend so I might just wander over myself :-)

I am very slowly working my way around your blogs and am sorry that its taking forever. Sending hugs, Jayne x

Birthday Boy!

Super quick card today using an LOTV pre coloured image. I now have quite a stash of art pads and they are proving to be super useful for quick cards.

The papers are from the Docrafts 'All Aboard' paper pad.

Apologies for the super quick post. I'm really not feeling great at the mo but hope to be back in action and visiting blogs soon. Hugs, Jayne xx
