Too hot!!!!

Can I tell you a secret? I don't like hot weather :( Sorry, I know loads of people love it but it just makes me ill. I've had a cracking headache for days and I just can't sleep. I don't think my mental health can withstand much more!! I may be a little on the tetchy side ;-)

So, this is the last of the thank you cards made for my daughter's class assistant.
The bouquet stamp is from QVC - yonks ago! The scrummy papers are 'Romance and Roses' from NitWit Collections. An LOTV sentiment and a big bow and we're done :)
I'm off to melt at the hairdressers tomorrow! I soooooooooooooo need a cut and colour - I look like I have a wayward hedge on my head !!

Thank you for visiting, I'm doing my best to visit your blogs. Hugs, Jayne x

Thank You!

This was a thank you card for my daughter's teaching assistant who truly was wonderful :-)
Sorry about the lighting - no idea what I did wrong with the camera.
The papers are Flower Shoppe from NitWit Collections and I think the stamp is Wild Rose Studio.

Gosh, it's just too hot for me! My older daughter has been crafting all day :)  Card making this morning and painting this afternoon. She's taken a liking to my craftwork cards papers!!!!!!!!!!!

Summer hols at last!

At last the school year is done and happily this year has been a joyous one for my older daughter. After the misery of last year, this year she had a teacher who worked super hard to get the best out of her. She is a wonderful lady and my daughter has been very lucky to have been in her class. The report she wrote for my daughter was beautiful and it made me cry - in a good way ;-)

This is the card I made for her - the gem must have been jiggled off course when my daughter wrote the card!
The perfect image is from DigiStamp Boutique and is Thank you Rosie. The papers are from NitWit Collections and are from the Flower Shoppe collection. The cute little Thank You stamp is from Dreamees - it is part of a really cute set of sentiment stamps :)

It's been such a tiring day - had a hospital visit which is no way to start the Summer hols! The good news is I now have a diagnosis and it isn't what I feared! Exhale :)

Thank you for visiting, I really appreciate it. Jayne xx

More Christmas sneaky peaks :)

These are a couple of Christmas cards made using one of the stamp bundles that Dreamees are taking to Create and Craft on Tuesday 22nd July. There are three stamp sets in the bundle and these are just yummy!
For the first card I went for the traditional red and green:
The holly bough is just fabulous and there are lots of different bauble stamps to go with it. I made the same card in black and gold:
I have to package up the cards and get them sent off tomorrow - this has been the longest day ever!!

Tired hugs, Jayne xx

Simply Christmas Sneaky Peak :)

Today I have a sneaky peak of a stamp and CD set that the Dreamees ladies are taking to Create and Craft on Tuesday 22nd July. I am super giddy! The CD is fabulous - it has a touch of the Scandinavian in places! There is a snowflake paper that I am sure I will use to death ;) and the stamp sets are just really usable.

The heart paper is my favourite :) The papers are all from the Simply Christmas CD and the Christmas tree and snowflakes are from one of the stamp bundles to be aired on the 22nd.

Must go and make some more samples. I've printed so many backing papers that I've run out of ink. I have no self control ;-)

Be-you-tiful Flower Heart

How cute is this image? It's from Wild Rose Studio and was used by Netty on the birthday card she sent me. As soon as I saw it i knew I had to have it!!!! Netty's card was super stunning :) I've coloured it up in shades of pink and red. Super yum :)

I've teamed the image up with NitWit Collections Be-you-tiful papers and an LOTV sentiment.
I have both my girls at home as school is closed as a result of the strike. I wish everyone who is out on strike the very best and hope that it has not caused too much inconvenience to others. My poor cousin had not realised that the school was closed until last night!!!!! Luckily her parents are able to have her girls. It did make us all chuckle!

Be-YOU-tiful!

I love this Saturated Canary 'Honey' image. I've teamed her up with the appropriately named 'Be-YOU-tiful' collection from NitWit Collections.
My beautiful girl is back at school today and I hope all is well - fingers crossed! I have my tickets for the Summer Crafting show at Doncaster and we're all excited! Can't wait to see the girls at Dreamees :)

Summer Fun over at Crafty Little Fairies xxx

Super quick post - my big girl was sick this morning so no school. It's sports day and she was soooo upset - I had to wrestle her uniform off her! Still, she's been making Christmas cards for the last last hour and seems to have cheered up :)

This month it's Summer Fun (!) over at Crafty Little Fairies:
I've used an LOTV image with the Craftwork Cards Kitsch papers and paper bows (oooh , I do love these papers). I've also used one of the Craftwork cards shaped cards.
