For the One you Love over at Crafty Little Fairies!

Isn't it great when you can put all your absolute favourite things all on one card? I really enjoyed making this one - and I was dreading it because I wasn't too sure about the theme! I am just loving these pretty, delicate papers from the Romance and Roses collection over at NitWits and the fresh spring colours really suit this stamp. The image is 'Love Grows' from LOTV and I coloured it with copics. I've used my well loved Go Kreate XXL Frilly Frames No 10 die as I just love the shape - I'm after the XXL Frilly Frames No 6 set and am hoping that it somehow makes its way into my Christmas stocking!!!

I hope that you get the chance to play along with us this week, we're sponsored by the fabulous ladies over at Dreamees so it's well worth joining us to get the chance to win a Dreamees voucher. We had a huge number of entries last week and they were all stunning. We're really very grateful for all your support since we changed the blog - Squirrel has done the most amazing job at organizing everything :D  The DT call is still on this week so put DT after your entry if you want to join us!

I'm back tomorrow with an A Little Bit Crafty DT card using a super cute Pink Gem digi teamed with papers from the Merry and Bright collection at NitWit. It's such a hard life ;D Alas, I have to go and make a start on a mountain of ironing that must rival Everest in height. Hugs, Jayne xx

Dreaming of a pink Christmas!

Is there anything better than getting to play with beautiful papers? If you can only afford to buy one set of Christmas papers this year this one would be a great choice. It is just super scrummy. I'd tell you it was my favourite NitWits Collection but I have a lot of favourites :D!! The papers are from the new release and are called 'Holiday Bouquet'. I absolutely love the Christmas rose paper and the pinks are a huge hit with my daughter!

I've used a Wild Rose Studio stamp (Annabelle with Gifts) that I've had for ages but never inked! I coloured with copics but struggled a bit because of the carpal tunnel. If anyone has any miracle cures I'm all ears. I'm wearing wrist splints at night which are uncomfortable but at least I haven't woken in agony for the last couple of nights :D

I'll be back soon with a card I made using the Romance and Roses collection and a DT card for the Crafty Little Fairies. I'm not entirely sure that being on the NitWit DT is helping my paper obsession!

It's been a really fabulous but exhausting day. My daughter's friend spent the day with us and we went bowling, then onto the craft shop for make and takes followed by lunch at a cafe and finally home to spend the afternoon painting, playing and colouring! It's a great life being six!

Big hugs, Jayne xx

Apologies that this is the quickest post ever. I'm writing this on Wednesday evening and I'm absolutely shattered and moments away from hitting the sack!

This week over at the Crafty Little Fairies it's Christmas in October. I had such fun heaping on the embellishments - I only stopped when there was no more room left on the card!! Joy :D

An Elegant Lady!

This is something a bit different for me! I was watching the lovely Julia Watts on Create and Craft this week and saw how she layered all the fabulous Spellbinder dies and thought that I would give it a go. The fabulous NitWit papers from the Fine Linen Collection were perfect for the paper piecing I did on the dress - a relief as I have very painful carpal tunnel in my hands at the moment and colouring is just agony!!

These papers are just scrumptious and the beautiful linen effect is perfect for the card. The idea with buying digi kits is to reduce the amount of paper I have in my craft area because I really don't have a lot of room. The problem is whenever I download a new collection I start printing like a crazy woman! I have no self control!!!

The image is from the Creative Expressions 'Elegant Ladies' stamp set. The sentiment is from the Creative Expressions 'Belle of the Ball' stamp set - which is seriously gorgeous :D I've also used the following dies:
Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One
Spellbinders Floral Ovals
La Land Land Heart Banner
Spellbinders Twenty
Marianne Creatables LR0236
It's going to be a busy week; the Health Visitor is coming to see Isis tomorrow and we have Indigo's parents evening on Tuesday. How bad can it be?

Thank you for visiting - it's a relief to know I'm not talking to myself. Big hugs, Jayne xx

Pretty In Pink over at the Crafty Little Fairies!

Ok, so the Crafty Little Fairies have moved blog address and we can now be found here This week our challenge is easy peasy - 'Pretty in Pink'. Do you remember the film? Oooh it had the yummy Andrew McCarthy in it - that takes me back! Anyhoo, a pink card it is then. In my case a very pink card and some exciting news! I've been asked to join the Nitwits Collection DT. Yep, I've been doing a happy dance ever since I got the news!! Super big thank you to lovely Paula Holifield who put my name forward ;D

.
I've used lots of totally scrumptious papers from the Nitwits 'Fine Linen' Collection. Well, how could I choose just one papers from a collection that lush? The flowers are also from the collection - I resized them (ooh get me, vaguely knowing how to do that!) and layered them up. This is such a pretty collection of papers and perfect for this challenge.

Ok, I'm off to try and work out how to upload the photo to the Nitwits gallery. I may be some time.

I hope you get chance to join us over at the Fairy Challenge Blog - we're sponsored this week by:
LIVE AND LOVE CRAFTS
who are providing the lucky winner with a £10 voucher - you gotta be in it to win it!

So Sweet over at Joanna Sheen's Challenge Blog!

Huge apologies for the late post. We decided to go to the seaside yesterday so I didn't get chance to post. We had the most brilliant day and the weather was fabulous. Indigo had a ride on a donkey called William and then she had me digging channels to the sea! I love digging pointless holes :)

So, this fortnight over at the Joanna Sheen Challenge blog we want to see cards that meet the 'So Sweet' theme. I reckon that can mean cards with sweeties on them or cards that make you go 'ahhh'! I used a meece image from the House Mouse triple CD ROM available here.

I used the lush Papermania Lucy Cromwell Christmas papers again :) I really must go buy another pack. I put some glaze on the sweeties and generally threw a bit of glitter about :)

I really hope that you get the chance to join us - a £15 voucher is up for grabs if you use a Joanna Sheen image.

Big hugs, Jayne xx

A Little Bit Shabby over at A Little Bit Crafty!

Over at A Little Bit Crafty this month we've gone all 'shabby chic'! We're sponsored by the fabby Octopode Factory and Hobbyctz :)

  £7.50 voucher

I used this beautiful stamped image from Lili Of the Valley - it's one of my favourites and perfect for a bit of shabby chic! The papers are Papermania 'At Christmas' by Lucy Cromwell - they're all yummy!
The card is an easel card but the picture is a bit rubbish!
I hope that you're able to join us this month!

Isis is now eight weeks old and had her first round of vaccinations yesterday - how time flies. Today we have a hospital appointment with Indigo - it's all go!!

Thank you for coming to visit - I really appreciate it. Big hugs, Jayne xx
