All About the Boys on Lili's Little Fairies and it's a girl!!!!!

I realised that I hadn't got around to saying that the bump was born on August 5th and to much relief it's a girl! Indigo is thrilled to be a big sister and I am thrilled to no longer be pregnant! We've named the baby Isis - although at the moment all she's getting is her sister's name!  We're all doing well and over-doing it on a daily basis - it's all good :)

Over at Lili's Little Fairies it's all about the boys. I made this a while ago, which is a super good job 'cos I've got nothing done in the last two weeks!

The papers are We R Memory Keepers 'Travel Light' which were a freebie with a magazine. The image and sentiments are from LOTV .
The prize up for grabs this week is a two week GDT slot. I hope that you get chance to visit the Dt's blogs - all totally fabulous :)

Big hugs, Jayne xx

Embossing challenge over at the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog

Over at the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog this fortnight we are hosting an embossing challenge. We would like to see projects using dry or heat embossing and if you use a Joanna Sheen image you will be entered into a random draw to win a £15 Joanna Sheen voucher.

Huge apologies for the pants photo!

This super cute image is taken from the House Mouse Triple CD ROM which can be found at the Joanna Sheen on-line shop HERE. I also used the Die'sire embossalicious 8"x 8"embossing folders 'Regency Swirls' and 'Grande Dots' which can be found HERE. The poinsettia is from Sizzix, the Tim Holtz Tattered Poinsettia die - yum scrum!

I hope that you get the chance to play along with this challenge - I think it's the first time I've made a card without using design papers and it was great to use my much under-used embossing folders! Big hugs, Jayne xx

Christmas in August over at Lili's Little Fairies!

We've gone all 'HoHoHo' over at the Fairies this week and are encouraging you to make a start on those Christmas cards. I confess to buying the Hunkydory Blockbuster on Create and Craft a few weeks ago because I just can't see me getting time to make lots of handcoloured lovingly crafted cards this year!! This, however, was a great opportunity to make a special card for someone close!
I really love these Nitwit papers - I'm a big fan of aqua for Christmas cards! I've gone with lovely James the bear and a couple of LOTV sentiments. The tattered poinsettia is the Tim Holtz die from Sizzix and I've embossed  the white card with the cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I've also used the LaLa Land Heart Banner die (again).
I've used the Spellbinders Grand Decorative circles and Grand circle dies to make the card base. I've made lots of easels using these and the Grand Decorative Ovals but they're just super pretty :D
I coloured this before the bump got mahoosive!

Hope that you get the chance to join us this week. Big hugs, Jayne xx

Summer Sun Challenge over at A Little Bit Crafty

Over at A Little Bit Crafty this month we're getting into Summer and having a 'Summer Sun' Challenge. I've used a beautiful digi from The Paper Shelter called Beautiful Mermaid.

I used the Wild Rose Studio 'Annabelle's Meadow' dps and a LOTV sentiment. I nearly came out in a cold sweat when I thought I'd run out of the pearl trim - but I finally found it after looking in about 10 boxes. Perhaps I've got too much stuff?
Colouring is very tricky at the mo - the bump is just in the way of everything!

We are lucky enough to be sponsored this month by the following:

$20 voucher
£10 voucher
 £15 voucher

I hope that you can join us this month - it's a fab challenge! Hugs, Jayne xx
