I taught a lovely class of ladies at Samuel Taylor's last Sunday. They were just the best class, so eager and excited to learn and share their knowledge. I had such a great afternoon :-)
These are the two cards we made:
The panels were made using the Sue Wilson snowflake striplet and we used sheets of double sided adhesive to stick the glitter. We also decoupaged the snowman - though you can't tell here.(Woodware snowman stamp!)
I think this next card was the class's favourite though.
The snowflake is a Joy Crafts die and the holly flourish is from Sue Wilson.
I really love this little snowman stamp - really versatile and very jolly.
Apologies for my bad blogger-ness lately. I have had an unmovable virus for weeks. The main reason for my absence though is that my beloved doggy has been diagnosed with a very rare and incurable cancer. He starts chemo in a couple of weeks and we hope that stops the cancer spreading in the short term. I have concluded, in the last couple of weeks, that your dog will break your heart far worse than any man ever could!!!! I shall go and snivel somewhere else.
Thank you so much for visiting me, it means such a lot. I shall endeavour to pull myself together and visit you soon. Hugs, Jayne xx

Sorry to hear your sad news Jayne, wishing him well. What a gorgeous collection of cards too, you must be very proud to have such talented students xx
ReplyDeleteI'm snivelling with you sweetie, I hope that pooch improves with the treatment but I know how heart breaking they are. I'd be the same. I hope you're also feeling better soon. Your cards are lovely and I'm sure that the ladies were delighted with their makes. Well done for hosting a class too. I'm not sure I'd have the confidence to do that!
ReplyDeleteJayne, I am full of tears for you having lost my wonderful Ty Dog to cancer last year. I hope your four legged love improves with treatment...Ty was diagnosed and lost within a couple of days so we did n't have time for any!
ReplyDeleteAnyway! Your cards a re both beautiful and your are so patient and clever to run a card making class! Full of admiration for you for that. Hope all is ok...
Sue...xxx
so sorry to hear the news about your doggy and can understand exactly how you feel - I lost my Tilly 16 months ago and it still hurts so much. But your cards are beautiful - and just remember that crafting is a great therapy when life seems pretty pants!
