Beautiful Freesias!

These are a couple of quick cards that I made last week (before chicken pox-gate!!) Both were made using the Jane Shasky, Heart of the Garden, CD ROM from Joanna Sheen.
Not a huge fan of orange, so I was totally out of my comfort zone, but I LOVE freesias and couldn't resist making a card with the image. I've used the foliage dies and Fleur de Lis Accents from Spellbinders and the X-cut Flower doily border punch. The flowers are from WOC.
This next card I made with a very heavy heart and a fountain of tears! My lovely friend Steve passed away and I needed to make a card for his wife. I really didn't know where to start and must have paced around the house a hundred times. In the end I went for more of an uplifting image and hope it was the right thing to do.
It's been a rough couple of days; I hope that my daughter is soon over the worst of the chicken pox. Gosh, it's just so painful to watch your little one in so much misery.

I'm going to watch Rizzoli and Isles before the scratching starts again! Big hugs, have a great weekend and thank you so much for stopping by. Jayne xxx

think that orange is my next favourite colour to green. I hope your daughter is feeling better, that husband's toothache has disappeared .....along with that dog!! lol Hazel x
