A sad goodbye to my beautiful boy

We finally had to say goodbye to our beautiful fur baby on Monday evening. The sudden onset of an eye condition on Monday, coupled with the advancing cancer and heart disease, forced us to make the heartbreaking decision.

He was, like me, built for comfort. And eating. And snuggling up on the sofa. Had he been a man, I would most definitely have married him! He was my constant companion for nearly 11 years and I loved him completely. Our hearts are broken and we miss him terribly but I feel so incredibly fortunate to have had such an amazing friend in my life.

I am very grateful to all of you who have left messages of support over the last few months. Jayne xxx

    My heart breaks for you Jayne. It is such a hard thing to face but it will get easier it time. We love our babies so completely and he has been so lucky having a loving home for all his years.

    So sorry to read your sad News! its not easy loosing a so very close and dear friend fur or not they become huge parts of our lives and I feel your loss!
